Job Purpose:
The Program Administrator will assist in managing the business relationship between assigned customer and the manufacturing facility to ensure that customer expectations are met and/or exceeded. This position can provide opportunities and experiences for the candidate to develop skills and talent necessary leading to a rewarding career as Program Manager.
Nature of Duties/ Responsibilities:
  • Assist Program Manager in the management of commercial aspects of the business including product margin, product pricing (price effectively, inventory re-valuation), RMAs, tariffs, freight recovery premiums and ECO's with the customer.
  • Assists in managing customer backlog, resolving accounts receivable issues and driving closure for excess & obsolete material.
  • Reporting key business indicators such as revenue, profitability, on time delivery, inventory turns, quality and asset management.
  • Works closely with the Program Manager and with various departments in expediting procurement shortages and production work flows to meet program delivery goals.
  • Receives customer requests and prepares documents related to processing returns (RMA).
  • Records and reports the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules.
  • Maintains records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes and product pricing, and resolves return credit problems.
Education and Experience:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Must understand contractual obligations to be able to assist with timely fulfillment (e.g. backlog management, operational execution, delivery, payment, etc)
  • 5 years of experience in customer service or program administration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently & quickly while under pressure in a fast paced environment
